As a Junior Finance & Admin Specialist (f/m/d) you are part of enhancing receeve’s Finance team. Our job descriptions are written in pencil. Once in your role, you adapt to the tasks at hand and steer your own career. You are supporting our Head of Finance while taking ownership on finance matters. As part of the team’s structure, you also assist our Office Management in similar tasks and projects. 


  • Being a contact person for all finance related topics.
  • Report directly to the Head of Finance and collaborate with our Founders on all finance-related projects.
  • Responsible for controlling and reparatory accounting.
  • Manage receeve’s accounts payables and account receivables as well as monthly, quarterly, and yearly closing.
  • Draw ad hoc and plan-actual analyses.
  • Operate our expense management tools and perform internal controls.
  • Support our strategic planning process.
  • Support the Office Management in ad hoc tasks (e.g. supplier management)
  • You develop and update Best Practices and templates to lead process automation and improvement initiatives.

Your profile


  • You have at least 2 years of experience in the field of finance, accounting & controlling in a startup.
  • You have strong knowledge of DATEV and German accounting standards (HGB).
  • You have managed multi-year forecasting.
  • You love taking initiative and you thrive working autonomously.
  • You enjoy working in an intercultural team with a flexible mindset.
  • You are analytical, structured in your approach to work and have strong attention to detail.
  • You have excellent English and German communication skills (at least B2). Our company language is English, but we are looking for someone who is comfortable with communicating with German authorities and understanding legal documents. 


  • You have experience with Google Workspace and Google Data Studio.
  • You are familiar with Financial Services and/or Collections.
