Mission:

Terra One is seeking Project Managers to lead the execution of our rapidly growing battery energy storage (BESS) pipeline. This opportunity will allow you to dive into hands-on project experience and assume significant responsibilities in a short timeframe. This role offers a fast track to becoming a seasoned professional in the energy sector. Your impact will be visible from day one, and will propel your career forward by directly managing critical aspects of pioneering BESS projects in Germany.

Responsibilities: 

• Ownership of BESS projects in tens to hundreds of MWhs 
• Directly overseeing and managing EPC contractors to ensure project execution 
• Ensure the timely completion of BESS projects in Germany from RTB to the Commercial Operation Date 
• Oversee the execution of projects to guarantee adherence to cost, timeline, quality, and execution standards as planned 
• Skilled and experienced in the negotiation of contracts 
• Act as the project's representative to external entities such as investors, government agencies, power grid operators, and others 
• Take charge of overseeing the project's financial aspects. 
• Engage with an international team of experts and contribute actively to the establishment of project benchmarks 
• Work collaboratively with colleagues as needed to facilitate efficient communication and achieve objectives

Required Qualifications: 

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, management, or related field 
• Minimum of 2 years of direct experience in managing projects, specifically within the PV Solar or Wind sectors 
• High degree of self-responsibility, entrepreneurial understanding and flexibility 
• Good negotiation management, coupled with high sensitivity to different mentalities and practices in an international business environment 
• Fluent spoken and written business English and B2 German 
• High willingness to travel to project locations within Germany 
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
