We are currently in search of a dynamic Senior Software Engineering Manager (m/f/x/d) to lead our Research team in the vibrant city of Valencia, Spain.
 
Responsibilities and Duties:
<ul>
 <li>Collaborate with the code and production teams to achieve a world-class quality product.</li>
 <li>Lead and coordinate the technical team, development process and resources planning.</li>
 <li>Ensure the constant progress on the product roadmap, meeting deadlines and delivering on time.</li>
 <li>Deliver scalable and maintainable solution using the latest technology, responsible for the DevOps setup and management.</li>
 <li>Identify and evaluate strategic innovations (concepts, tools/languages, technologies, services), mainly in the artificial intelligence/machine learning/data science fields.</li>
 <li>Support the product team as well as the commercial activities of the company with technical issues; best technology implementation and advise.</li>
 <li>Tackle bugs and understand the best way to approach and solve them</li>
 <li>Constant personal and professional development in new technologies, yours and of your team.</li>

 <li>Set the yearly goals and do the performance reviews</li>
 <li>Actively communicate with the team members to early detect problems and how to improve workflows</li>

Education, required experience and skills:&nbsp;
<ul>
 <li>Bachelor’s degree in computer science, mathematics, telecommunication technologies, or similar.</li>
 <li>Experience required:
 <ul>
 <li>+5 years as a developer.</li>
 <li>+2 years as a technical team manager and coordinator.</li>
 <li>+2 years of managing development teams (in person and remotely).</li>
 </ul>
 </li>
 <li>Experience in Python, Java and Javascript(ReactJS) coding language, one relational DBMS (MySQL, MSSQL, Postgres), code sharing and versioning technology (e.g. Mercurial, Git), cloud computing environment (e.g. Azure, AWS, GCloud),</li>
 <li>Good knowledge of concepts of TDD and Software Design Patterns (e.g. SOLID).</li>
 <li>Experience in working in a team with an agile software development process.</li>
 <li>Languages: Fluent in English with Spanish/German as optional but good to have.</li>
 <li>Critical thinker, good interpersonal, communication and problem-solving skills.</li>
 <li>Team player with ability to work individually.</li>
 <li>Digital and user-centric mindset and attention to detail and quality.</li>
</ul>
 
Preferred skills and experience:
<ul>
 <li>Knowledge in ALM-Tools as well as Team Foundation Server (TFS)</li>
 <li>Knowledge in Continuous-Delivery-systems</li>

We are currently looking for a Senior Research Scientist (m/f/d) for our Research team in Valencia (Spain). In this position, you will play a key role in the team and will have the opportunity to participate and lead innovative projects in different NLP areas: fact-checking, text similarity analysis, plagiarism detection, opinion mining, author profiling, etc. Your work will attempt to improve the company’s products and be aligned to customers needs. In addition, at Genaios we will also encourage you to explore new research ideas and to publish in blogs, forums, reputable research conferences and journals.
